The Preserve vs. Scott's View

I live at The Preserve! People will often use the community room/fire pit to host parties on Friday and Saturday, so if you prefer quiet evenings I’d make sure your apartment isn’t next to those areas. The pool also gets pretty crowded on weekends during the warmer months. Parking can be limited in the evenings if you don’t have a reserved space—there’s been many times where I’m unable to park in their parking lot if I get home from work a bit later than usual or if I leave to pick up dinner. The Preserve vs. Scott's View

I recently toured one bedroom apartments at The Preserve and Scott's View in Scott's Addition. I really liked both units I saw, however, Scott's View includes all utilities in the lease and has free garage parking which is a huge perk imo. I'm heard before that some apartment buildings in Scott's can be a little rowdy on the weekends, or that the walls are super thin. Just looking to hear some experiences for either building before I pull the trigger and sign a lease.

fan/museum district apts?

… There’s a whole bunch of single-word-named apartment buildings just north of us, I’m sure you’d find space at The Otis or The Ink or The Ace or The Icon or The Preserve.. All of those are so close, you can even visit The Fan on weekends! ;) Best of luck in your housing search, but seriously if you just want no issues and new and nice, look in Scott’s Addition. Not The Fan.

Apartments you actually enjoyed living in?

We really enjoyed The Preserve on Roseneath when we were between houses for seven months. My only complaint was the noise from the apartment above but that could be solved by getting a top floor unit.

Scotts Addition vs. Monument Avenue Apartment

Title basiccally lays it out. Trying to decide between an apaertment in Scotts Addition (likely either the Preserve or Scott's View) or one on Monument Avenue (1805 Monument). The one on Monument is in a beautiful location and would be great for walks, etc. But the apartment is older and a little smaller and doesn't have any of the amenities that the newer buildings in Scott's Addition have. Took a tour of Scott's View and really liked it. It's 5 minutes from my office which is nice. Major downs
