ChimboMart lot being sold

Ummm....someone needs to go look at the Code Refresh interactive zoning map for Version 3. The CRE guys are advertising this on Loopnet as MX-5, which is Mixed Use 5 Stories (of right). In other words.....it ain't gonna be 16-24 units with 50 residents. Under MX-5 it will be a 5-story tall apartment building a la what they're throwing up all over Scott's Addition. So think more like 200 apartments. The Ace or the Guild are more likely comparisons, not 16 townhomes.

Tuesdaily, Goodbye RVA Edition

Moving to Richmond soon and would love some local input! My husband and I (mid-20s) are choosing between **The Ace in Scott’s Addition and Ellison in the Museum District.** We love running/walking, coffee shops, restaurants, pickleball, meeting people, and exploring the city. We loved The Ace’s community/amenities, but LOVE Ellison’s location. The Ace is also about $150/month cheaper. Anyone familiar with either building or area—which would you choose and why?

The Ace vs. Ellison Museum District — which would you choose?

My husband and I are moving to Richmond and are currently torn between The Ace in Scott’s Addition and Ellison Museum District. We’re both professionals in our mid-20s and would love input from anyone who lives/has lived at either complex, lives nearby, has heard experiences about either, or is just familiar with the two locations! We love running and walking outdoors, walking to restaurants and coffee shops, playing pickleball, exploring the city, and meeting new people. We’re hoping for some

A new apartment going up in Manchester is going to block Legend Brewing’s patio view :/

I live in Scott’s Addition.. the new apartments have great amenities and I love my apartment but it is crazy. I have a 2 bed 2 bath.. 1300 sq ft.. I pay about $2600 a month.. They just built “The Ace” across the street and it’s insane.. the building just opened a few months ago .. and their 2 bed 2 bath 1100 sq ft is $3200.. their 2 bed 2 bath and loft.. 1400 sq ft.. insane.. $4500. Every time I pay rent I have to remind myself “well, at least I can pay it”.. helps with the immediate regret hah
