Issues finding a decent apartment for young professional

You’ll have to move further outside of your preferred areas to find anything even remotely close to what you want. If you’re okay with Mechanicsville, try looking at Hanover Crossing apartments or Sherwood Crossing apartments. The price ranges are close to what you want (a little more probably) and they accept dogs. Also the areas are fairly nice and have a decent bit of stuff around them.
