Windmill Way is a small, independently owned community of about 50 two-bedroom garden apartments on Elm Tree Terrace in Mechanicsville, set back behind trees near the Mechanicsville Recreation Association pool. Every apartment has one bathroom, an open kitchen with an island, a washer and dryer, a dishwasher and a private balcony or patio. Deluxe units add stainless steel appliances, a ceiling fan and, on the first floor, vinyl plank floors. It is owned and run by WWA, LLC, with showings by appointment.
