Anyone have experience with the trail lofts in shockoe slip/bottom?

Doing some early apartment hunting and came across this place. Recently graduated from VCU but staying in the city so I’m familiar with the area and how it is at night. I’m more so asking about the general feel regarding the place. Theres maybe 5 entire reviews online but seems pretty nice so far (utilities included as well which is a +) edit - i checked the sub before posting this and didnt find anything so figured i’d ask

Trail Lofts Apartments (Shockoe Bottom)

Hello! I was wondering if anyone has any insight into living at The Trail Lofts Apartments in the Shockoe Bottom. My son will be attending VCU school of pharmacy next month, and we found a really nice apartment there. Is it a safe place to live? Will his car be safe in the apartment parking lot? Will he be safe walking from the car to apartment around 8 or 9 at night? How about the bus that goes to VCU from the apartment area? Safe walk to bus? Thanks in advance for any responses.
