Funding for new I-64/North Gayton Road 'diverging diamond' [intersection] sets in motion multi-year project to alleviate Short Pump congestion

I'm not sure I follow how 288 and 295 relate to this new intersection. This new intersection will significantly relieve traffic coming from and going to the Broad/64 intersection near West Broad Village.

The only part of Short Pump that comes close to this is West Broad Village. The VAST majority of Short Pump is a car hell.

Bro, the mall was open in 2003… And all along most of that section of pump Road on this map is definitely not short pump I can admit to being wrong about the West Broad village area as another commenter actually shared specific references to this, but the rest of it… nah

And the person I was originally responding to here said “most of those spots were still farmland until the mid 2000’s” about short pump town center and west broad village… while maybe correct about the smaller area of west broad village, short pump town center was already open in 2003, so I don’t think you could say “most of those spots were still farmland”… It really is something, how large swathes of people will move from a place they can no longer afford, just to make the new locati

I didn't say what was on this map was farmland back then, I said West Broad Village and where the Town center is. I was trying to give OP Context to how much the area has changed in the last 20 years because that is why a lot of commenter have a different perspective of what is and is not considered SP. But a long pump rd. Definitely.
