NOVEL Scott's Addition by Crescent Communities

There was a cat (not sure if it’s stray or not) on Arthur Ashe Blvd at the electrical building behind the train tracks and nearby the Novel apartment building. They seemed very friendly and have been around here for the last few days!

Is the Novel at Scott’s Addition attracting a lot of retirees? As a mover, where are you seeing the independent “over 60” crowd relocating in RVA?

Good evening!! I am planning on moving up north to RVA by next fall/end of summer, and I had seen plenty of apartments that had caught my eye. Of course the reviews are scary because people tend to comment on their worst experiences rather than the better. The Avant, The Ace, The Novel, The Ella, The Deco, The Hydro, and The Residences at RVA are all properties of interest for my partner and I! I love how spot on this is! I grew up in the area and operate a moving company in Richmond, VA. I have seen my fair share of the above comments... I enjoy Richmond, however every place comes with its flaws! Checkout "The Novel" and give Scott's Addition another look!

Never lived in any of those locations myself, but we’ve helped plenty of people move in! The Novel is one of the better apartment complexes in Richmond - management is excellent, and the place is always spotless. Nothing against the other communities, but The Novel really stands out in the cleanliness category. Anything in Scott’s Addition will put you within walking distance of tons of great food, gyms, and entertainment options. Just be mindful of parking - it’s one of the biggest challenge
