Richmond Rental Company Experiences 2026

… from over a decade ago. They were one of the few places that treated me like a human being. Thalhimer has been alright renting from, specifically the Kent Road/Georgetown management team is responsive and kind. Have had some issues with maintenance requests being marked completed and nothing was done but that’s it. They are actively making changes to improve these properties without a $200 rent increase (only $90).

Desperately need help finding affordable apartments within 15 minutes of downtown

look at Kent Road Apartments - I think they are around 1,200 for a 1 bed, and they allow dogs! Also right by the highway, downtown is about 10 minutes away

IF you are in a pinch, Kent Road Village has 1 br ( tiny) about $1000 and is pet friendly. Walkable area in the city, would be a commute to chester but is affordable. [https://www.kentroadvillage.com/kent-road-village-richmond-va/floorplans](https://www.kentroadvillage.com/kent-road-village-richmond-va/floorplans) Hotpads and Padmapper are helpful too. But Lindsay's List would also be helpful.
