Chasen

Anyone live at Chasen in Scott’s addition and can speak to the experience? It’s newer so reviews are limited. Concerned about WiFi, if there’s lots of fire alarms, or anything else crazy to note 😊

The apartments on the land Chasen used to be on in Scott's Addition are finally online! 352 apartments, three buildings each 6-7 stories. 1500 for a one bedroom is a solid price too, 200+ apartments at 1500 in a great location is a nice deal. 30% of the apartments are 2-3 stories...those start at 1900. That's a decent chunk of change obviously, but the more people who can afford such prices have such apartments available, it does ease things for most others who'll be looking for something more

Then of those I’d put Chasen and Ace at the top of your list followed by Scout and would also look at some of the other apartment complexes along Altamont Ave Would knock Alder, Novel, and Ella off the list entirely. They look in close proximity to things on the map but the way train lines, bridges and things are laid out they’re not very walkable, or if they are somewhat walkable the paths are very unpleasant.

What are your priorities? I personally would not want to live in the area where The Guild is Of these Chasen would be my choice (location, build quality, walkability/access to transit etc) but is also probably the most expensive
