Great apartment/townhome community experiences?

The Village at Horsepen is older and small townhouses, but I really liked the neighborhood and the management. Bonus is the pool. Estates at Horsepen is next door and owned by the same company; nicer and newer, but expensive. They are between Willow Lawn and Glenside, very accessible to Broad Street and 64, and close to lots of shopping and stuff to do.

Libbie Mill Apartments

Heard it was a lot of money for not a lot of space. Same could be said for Scott’s addition too. If you’re okay with a little outdatedness, look at the Village at Horsepen. Close to Libby mill, by the interstate, and by all the same stuff

The Village at Horsepen was originally on my list and I actually removed it because of that post! Makes me a little nervous about The Estates at Horsepen but a few users on here had some good really things to say about it in previous posts.

Relocating from GA to VA in week...landlord cancelled lease

Check out Village at Horsepen also. Owned by the same company that owns Malvern, is very dog friendly, and does short term leases. They have floor plans on their website, and their 3D tour is an accurate depiction of the size. Management is great and maintenance is responsive. I lived there for 4 years and didn’t have any major complaints. We just moved for a little more elbow room. Prices on short term leases will be higher than year leases.

Every home has its own front and back entrance with patios, a full-size washer and dryer, and 510 to 628 square feet across five plans. The grounds include a large outdoor pool with a grill, a six-acre park with a fenced dog park, two playgrounds, a walking trail, sand volleyball courts and free surface and street parking. Pets have no breed or weight limits. Gumenick Properties manages the community, which also runs The Estates at Horsepen next door.
