Apartment hunting in RVA

If you enjoy being close to the river for lovely walks, Manchester is great for that. I lived there for a year on Semmes Ave (Terraces at Manchester) and enjoyed the location. I've heard good things about South Falls Tower, if you haven't looked into that place. I never felt unsafe in Manchester.

the rooftop pool hunt is real, and fair play to your mom for having standards after a decade. south falls tower does have that nice river view situation, though it's not quite rooftop height so the sightlines aren't as expansive as you'd get up higher. if she's set on the rooftop experience, you might want to check with some of the newer buildings in scott's addition or near the canal district, since a lot of the redevelopment projects up there have been designing with that in mind. one thing i'
