About this property

Place One is a 114-unit project-based Section 8 community on Almora Avenue in western Henrico, off Staples Mill Road near Hermitage Road. One-, two- and three-bedroom apartments have pantries, large closets and all-electric kitchens, and the grounds include a community garden, a laundry room and free unassigned parking. An affiliate of Preservation Partners Management Group bought it in 2021 with plans for a $6 million renovation, and HUD lists Wingate Management Company as the manager.
