Coliseum Lofts fire?

Hope they’re safe, but fuck coliseum lofts. They were not transparent about any of the conditions in the building. Full of mice, roaches, had a contract with an organization that let the room in my apartment room be set up essentially as a half way house. None of it was disclosed.

Apartments you actually enjoyed living in?

1118 Grove Ave but only in the idea that I was on the top floor, it was cheap, and I could see the sunset from a balcony I’m amazed I didn’t die from sitting/standing on. I can’t imagine it’s the most amazing stable spot but as someone with no car at the time this apartment was the best one I ever had. A bit of a shithole but heating was covered and no bugs or loud crap for the most part. It beat out my hellscape that was Coliseum Lofts so please note the bar was low but I also lived at 3333

Who remembers the fire at VCU back in 2004?

Omg the Ghetto pride! I shopped there when I lived at the Coliseum lofts! Back then the crack Hardee’s nearby had been boarded up and they turned it into an ABC store.
