New resident coming! What are your thoughts on these locations?

Hi so I’m a 34 year single male. Starting a new job in downtown Richmond. I checked out some areas to live at and The Fan apartment prices for the sqft are just a bit out of my price range. Currently looking at Centennial Terrace on E Main St and then The Jamestown on w14 st. Wondering if folks can give me their thoughts on these areas or even living in the apartments if you had the chance. Also, any thoughts on the old Manchester area? Every time I ask people about where to live they never me
