apartments for older adults, seniors that AREN'T assisted living - feedback needed plz

The Virginian on the Southside is a good independent living apartment option. Not sure what their rates are these days, though. Tuckahoe Pines on Patterson is independent living apartments. Dogwood Terrace is an independent living community that has been around for ages. You mention Oakbrook and Brookdale apartments which are both similar in style and are regular apartment complexes that don’t necessarily cater to older adults.
