Things I picked up from Shiplock Park This Morning

I've come across discarded hypodermic needles on Chapel Island, Reedy Creek (from Ashton Square Apartments to Forest Hill Park), Forest Hill Park, and James River. I've not specifically come across one in Shiplock. Most of the time there is an orange cap on the needle. It's a shame that we don't promote clean needle exchange programs to help prevent bio-waste.

Need advice for Ashton Square area

Recently had to move to RVA Southside for work and it's all I could afford. I felt like when applying everything was fine and now being here all the time I have concerns. I have a nice neighbor in the Ashton Square apartments, but I was very limited in my choices of what I could afford. Any advice for staying safe?
