Sketchy Practices with VPI

PSA for anyone looking to rent a “luxury” apartment from Virginia Premier Investments. I moved in mid-July to what was supposed to be a “luxury” NEW build apartment but soon things started not adding up. Turns out they moved us in illegally before all inspections were done to receive their certificate of occupancy (permission from the city for people to live in the building) and were trying to cover it up with the city. RVA housing department hasn’t gotten back to me on how this even happened.
