PSA: For your own safety and sanity DO NOT RENT @ ABBINGTON WEST END

this was on my list past fall to check out based on location, price, and square footage. never did take a tour, and it sounds like i dodged a bullet! if you end up being able to escape, Wellesley Terrace in Short Pump has been fantastic and probably sits in a similar price range, esp if there's still move-in specials going on.

Who has lived in these West End Apartments?

I’ve done contract work at all but Tuckernuck and Oakbrook and they are all incredibly frugal with their money and everything is super old that I’ve seen. Of them all, Wellesley Terrace has been the most pleasant to work for if that matters to you at all

Who has lived in these West End Apartments?

Avoid anything GSC (in this case Wellesley Terrace). They’re sketchy and tried to scam me on an application, and I’ve heard anyone who’s lived in a property from them complain about poor maintenance and office staff. Horrible company

Who has lived in these West End Apartments?

I'm looking to move out of the city into the West End, and have a list of several 1-br apartments within my price range ($1200-1300ish). A lot of the reviews on the apartment sites are either fairly old or written by management probably lol. I searched this sub and found plenty of reasons to knock off Abbingdon West End, but I'm curious if folks have experience with any of the following in recent years: * Wellesley Terrace at Short Pump * Legacy at Mayland * Park West End * Champions Club * Oak

Relocating to Richmond - not sure for how long, looking for better short term rentals than an extended stay hotel (28 y/o married couple, one small dog, $1600/month budget)

If you end up at Wellesley Terrace, do yourself a favor and drive a couple minutes south to Ray's Italian Water Ice. I used to live across the street from there, they have excellent frozen custard.
