Trail Lofts Apartments (Shockoe Bottom)

I lived off 18th street and in several of the surrounding apt communities. I currently live in the Fan/Museum District now. If he wants to remain close to the school but in a much better area, Id suggest The Edison, 8th and Main, Deco and The John Marshall . They are in the business financial district.🙂

Thoughts on the Edison Apartments and Residences at the John Marshall?

I’m looking for a short term lease (six months) in Richmond and these two buildings are shaping up to be the best options at this point. Anybody have any experience living at either of these buildings or any flags?

ISO warnings or recommendations for 2bdr (1.3k - 1.5k)

Partner and I are likely moving to a new apartment in a few months, ideally within the city. If anyone has any recommendations or happens to have lived at any of the complexes below, it would be super helpful! It's difficult to tell if buildings have persistent AC/maintenance issues, pests, or other problems from a tour. **Capitol district:** * The Edison **Chimborazo** * The Lofty * Lava Lofts **The Diamond** * Southern Stone Lofts **Fulton** * Artisan Hill **Manchester** * New

Thinking about moving to Richmond after I graduate

… if I can. I don't have any pets or kids. Also I plan on working remotely, so commute time isn't going to be an issue. One place I've looked at already is the Edison apartments downtown. The area and apartment looked pretty good, and the price for a studio apartment looked good to me, but I'd love other people's opinion on it. Other than that I don't know anywhere else that might be a good fit so I'm open to suggestions, lol.
