Any experiences with Shiplock Views Apartments.

I'll be moving back to Richmond for medical school at VCU and was wondering if anyone had an experiences with Shiplock Views or any recommendations for apartments within a reasonable distance to the VCU medical campus. Looking for a one bed/studio for under \\\~1450 with nearby parking and no roaches. Obviously pests are unavoidable but dealt with a full blown roach infestation during my first stint and don't want to go through that again so I'm looking for something with a reasonable amount of

The River Lofts at Tobacco Row?

I have never heard anything positive about living there. Also, avoid Shiplock Views, the tall building next to Tobacco Row.

I can’t speak to the other parts of the city as well, but there are a couple apartment blocks in Shockoe bottom that should fit your price. Someone said shiplock views, there’s overview apartments, and tobacco row apartments to name a few.
