Tuesdaily, Goodbye RVA Edition

Moving to Richmond soon and would love some local input! My husband and I (mid-20s) are choosing between **The Ace in Scott’s Addition and Ellison in the Museum District.** We love running/walking, coffee shops, restaurants, pickleball, meeting people, and exploring the city. We loved The Ace’s community/amenities, but LOVE Ellison’s location. The Ace is also about $150/month cheaper. Anyone familiar with either building or area—which would you choose and why?

The Ace vs. Ellison Museum District — which would you choose?

My husband and I are moving to Richmond and are currently torn between The Ace in Scott’s Addition and Ellison Museum District. We’re both professionals in our mid-20s and would love input from anyone who lives/has lived at either complex, lives nearby, has heard experiences about either, or is just familiar with the two locations! We love running and walking outdoors, walking to restaurants and coffee shops, playing pickleball, exploring the city, and meeting new people. We’re hoping for some

Ellison Apartment project

If it's the Ellison at Grove & Thompson, that's in the 1st District and Andrew Breton's office. Also, if it's that project, it's almost done, and tenants have started to move in. Action about it would be more likely to be about improving city policy for construction road closures in the future than about getting that project to stop blocking the road. They'll stop soon because the project will be completed soon.

Redesigned Grove Ave. infill, Carytown townhomes, Broad St. apartments get city council OKs

The intersection of Grove and Thompson will sure be denser to get through once people start moving into the new apartment building called The Ellison. Damn expensive apartments they are too!
