Tell me about the neighborhoods that feel like a community

The Twin Hickory and Wyndham areas have a strong community vibe to them, composed of folks from India. Lots of people walking around in the evening, often times in groups. Decorations for Indian holidays. Kids playing together.

I’ve always thought there were two gas stations with excellent food. One just past Bogey’s and the other down Nuckols from Twin Hickory. Turns out those are just two ways to get to Wise Choice.

Looking for the inside scoop on Wyndham HOA in Glen Allen

I grew up next door(ish) in twin hickory, half my schoolmates lived in Wyndham. I’ve never heard any horror stories from either HOA. I’ve seen some very wide variations in landscaping/hardscaping and sheds and pools so I don’t think they’re unreasonably strict.

There were three HHHunt communities built in the West End: Wellesley, then Wyndham, then Twin Hickory. FWIW, I expect they are all run similarly. I have lived in Wellesley for 32 years. Our HOA fees were also $95/month until recently, but they went up last year to $104. And ours does not include trash. The fees are supporting similar amenities, I believe, assuming the golf course in Wyndham is maintained by a separate pool of fees and not HOA fees. I have never had a special assessment, nor do I
