… I can only imagine that if trying to rent from them was that abysmal the actual living experience would be a x1000 worse. Stay away from evernest, dobrin, KRS/ anything with James Bristol involved. Record everything, these companies are slum lords.

KRS Holdings omg I'm so sorry. Move as soon as y'all can. Until then, VA renters law says it's a violation if the temp is 80+ in a unit. Virginia Poverty Law Center on E. Main has great resources and could point you in the right direction on solving this - vplc.com - good luck to you!

… that combined with the apartment's mini-splits, resulted in a whopping $300 Dominion energy bill for a tiny 750 sq ft studio. :,) The building is managed by KRS Holdings and owned by Steve and Rachel Whitlow through Canterbury Townhouses LC which is registered under Howard Whitlow.
Heads up- new rental scam
krs holdings (well known as slumlords) wont let you view certain properties before application fee is paid. made the mistake of renting through them in my early 20s. nightmare of a time
