Avoid 14 South Plum street
Just moved out and there’s definitely a mold issue that they just paint over. It was so badly taken care of a possum got into my unit. They charged me $150 for a clogged toilet and now they’re asking for more money despite the deposit. Managed by Bear Granville.

A good chunk of Randolph is owned by Bear Granville. I rented a house on Winder for three years and had no problems whatsoever

Richmond Rental Company Experiences 2026
I rented from bear Granville. The property is off of S. plum it was so poorly taken care of a possum somehow got into my apartment. I didn’t have heat a few times this winter, they didn’t clean out the gutters which caused a leak into my bedroom which made mildew smell even more. Poor plumbing that caused weekly toilet clogs— called them to unclog one of those times and they charged me $140 even though the lease says all repairs are covered by landlord.
