Property management recommendations for a Condo Association

Signature Properties is another option. They pay our taxes, manage bills, and collect HOA dues. We do a lot of the other stuff in our own, like finding contractors and scheduling maintenance.

I propose we dedicate a thread to shitty landlords

Signature properties are slumlords all the way. They ignored maintenance requests for months and then charged me for them upon move out. The shitty part of every leasing company I've dealt with is they never copy you on maintenance requests you submit via their portal. I don't rent anymore thank God but I'd recommend keeping a record of all maintenance requests you submit on your own.

Renter beware: do not rent from signature properties.

I hope the tenant who gave Signature Properties a 5 star rating finally got that $5 Starbucks gift card. Super sad that Signature Properties didn’t hold up their part of the bargain. I’m not trying to dox, but it’s weird that their review was just a plea for the gift card that was promised.

Renter beware: do not rent from signature properties.

The entire story is way too long to post in here. But it boils down to multiple property manager changes and a loss of paper work, simple maintenance things like my front door knob literally falling off that they refused to replace and then tried to charge me for, and a lack of response on their part. My washer fell through the floor and it took a month to repair. With so many companies to deal with in our market, steer clear of them. The low costs are because they will literally do zero rep
