Blue Dog Properties- Moldy Apt

I would for sure look into dehumidifier and be sure to empty daily. I would say from experience with property management companies they don’t own building itself and with contract from owners they do need to have approval to do work over set amount. It could be that owner isn’t approving more work and Blue Dog is doing what it can.

Blue Dog Properties- Moldy Apt

Hi all, I’ve been sick for the past 1.5 months due to ongoing mold exposure in my Museum District apartment. Water/moisture getting into the back bedroom from exterior wall and management company has only done symptom fixes for past three years. Now, it has happened a fourth time. I’ve done at-home mold testing which confirms airborne mold in every room in the apartment. I’ve had recorded doctor communication, reported to management firm 5x, former written communication of no mold last year,

Apartments you actually enjoyed living in?

Not an apartment complex, but I’ve had a great experience with Blue Dog Properties in the Museum District.

Best ways to find apartments?

Dude good luck, out of all my years I have found that just continuously visiting the individual property management sites you like to check for new listings is helpful. Outside of metro (which I have not had the best experience with) I've heard of Monroe, blue dog, brick road, dickson, and dobrin. Stay away from Everest and Great Richmond Rentals/KRS holdings/James Bristol. Sometimes you get lucky on hotpads. Good luck
