No code enforcement cases on file

Richmond and Chesterfield code enforcement records show no cases at any property this owner holds. Cases are tied to the building, not the owner, so a case predating their purchase would sit on that address's record instead.

Anyone else sick of the job market and apartments around here?

I make a little less than 38k, have TWO roommates, my rent is \~595/mo and I'm still struggling. Also, my house is falling apart anf I have to beg, scream, and cry for Henry Briggs to send a maintenance man. When they *do* send a maintenance man, he sucks at his job and snitches on us for what the fuck ever. Landlords and rental companies neeeeed to be reckoned with, especially when wages aren't rising properly.

Moving

i’ve had a good experience with henry briggs, a terrible one with commonwealth capital investments, and a medium to bad one with keyrenter ( keyrenter required annual inspections i found kind of invasive and tried to charge me a ton for landscaping neglect when i moved out but gave when i pushed back and otherwise were pretty absentee and decent with maintainence)

Apartments you actually enjoyed living in?

We lived on monument and Henry Briggs was company that rented it and honestly great experience, they fixed everything we asked. New AC unit one summer. Had to get a crane and close monument down to put it on the roof. We only left because we were having a baby and 3rd floor apartment was less than ideal. We like having laid back landlords imo, I don’t need someone on top of me all the time but also willing to fix major things fast. Lived there almost 5 years.

DO NOT RENT FROM DOBRIN PROPERTIES LLC

Seconding the suggestion to stay away from Henry Briggs! The only thing they were good at was sending out a plumber several times, shortly after we requested one but we also only had one bathroom sooo... Then of course, raising rent prices and left when they increased prices. Oof, that's a really bad experience. No heat the whole winter is just downright inhumane. Leaks and foundation/structural issues seem to be super common with them. The house I lived in had water leaking from the roof (in
